Indiana governor, Governor Holcomb, issued a ‘stay at home‘ order to help combat the spread of COVID-19. The mandate is began Wednesday, March 25. All non-essential businesses are to close. MacFood Mart and our Sunoco gas stations are considered essential businesses at this time. Other essential businesses include hospitals, police stations, and grocery stores among others.

In the midst of growing concerns regarding the health and safety of our neighbors, we are adjusting daily based on recommendations from federal and state governments to continue to provide for our customers. We know that having access to grocery items can be difficult at this time, so we are committed to keeping our MacFood Marts open to assist you. While you may not be traveling as much as usual, our fuel pumps are also remaining open for your convenience to fill up so you can travel to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments, or work if necessary. Find a store here.

Although these times can be rather uncertain, it is our hope that we at MacFood Mart can continue to serve you and continue to be more than just a convenience store.

We are here to provide the services that you need during this unprecedented time. You can still fill up at our fuel pumps that offer regular gasoline and diesel fuel. You can also stop into our stores for any essentials you may need, such as medications, snacks and drinks, and other basics. We will also continue to offer carry-out food.

Our fuel pumps will continue to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for self-service, and normal business hours for in-store service.

Carry-Out Options Available

Feel free to also check out our delicious breakfast and lunch options for carry-out. We offer Broaster To Go, such as popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks, or corndogs, roller grill items, Papa Primo’s pizza, and more. To see our menu for each location, please click here. We will continue to offer these items for takeout during this time until suggested otherwise. Dining-in is prohibited at this time.

Cup Restrictions

We have restricted the use of reusable cups for both coffee and fountain drinks. Please refrain from bringing in your own cup or reusing any cups in order to help prevent the unnecessary spread of germs. We recommend getting a new cup with each visit. We hope to allow this discounted service again down the road for our customers. Thank you for understanding.

Sanitation Procedures

Our employees are working to keep both themselves and our customers healthy. We have increased the frequency of our cleaning practices in each of our stores. From wiping down card readers, cooler doors, door handles, and more, we are prioritizing sanitation throughout this time. We will continue to monitor news sources to adjust our operations accordingly.

We are also in the process of installing plexiglass sneeze-guards at each of our registers to protect both our employees and our customers from COVID-19 and other viruses. It is our hope that this gives our customers and our team members reassurance in a time of such uncertainty. All of the shields should be installed by next week.

Indiana Mask Mandate

Governor Holcomb has issued an executive order mandating the use of face masks inside public buildings. In accordance with this order, we ask our customers to wear a face covering upon entry at our MacFood Mart stores to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Learn more about this Indiana mandate here.
