Have you heard of Housebill 1002? This bill would lead to automatic yearly tax hikes, New Indiana tolls, IN to be 5th highest in USA in excise gas taxes, and IN to be 2nd highest in USA in diesel excise gas taxes. Read more about the bill at enoughINtaxes.org.

 

This Wednesday we are doing an event at our Goshen Road location to raise awareness for gas taxes. The first 200 people to purchase regular gasoline at our Goshen Road location (starting at 10am) will receive tax free gas – or rather the taxes are paid for you! Stay tuned to the Macfood Mart Facebook page to find out the exact amounts, but we are guessing you will be surprised by just how much you are paying on fuel in taxes.

 

Three ways you as an individual can say “No” to more fuel taxes:

 

1) Call your senator at 1 (844) 568-0010

There are only two simple steps for calling your senator. First tell them you want to “Stop the Gas Tax.” The second step is to provide your name and address. That’s it. They do the rest of the work for you.
