MacFood Mart's Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser
At MacFood Mart, supporting our community goes beyond just fuel. This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re once again proud to partner with Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, an organization that is especially close to our hearts. We’re excited to bring back our Breast Cancer Awareness car ribbon magnets to raise funds for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana
Our 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign:
This year, we’re stepping up our efforts to raise even more funds for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. We’ve stocked up on 1,000 Breast Cancer Awareness car ribbon magnets, which are available for purchase at all four of our locations. The magnets are priced at just $2 each, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Cancer Services.
By purchasing a ribbon, you’re contributing to the life-changing work this organization provides:
- Supportive and therapeutic counseling
- Financial assistance for cancer-related expenses
- Access to personal care supplies like wigs, hats, and scarves
- Nutritional consultations and wellness therapies
- And much more!
Why Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana?
Established in 1944, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana has been serving Northeast Indiana for over 75 years. They help nearly 5,000 people with cancer and their families every year, providing essential support, resources, and compassion. Their services — from financial aid for cancer-related expenses to transportation assistance and counseling — have directly impacted members of our team.
This amazing organization is entirely supported by charitable donations, and every dollar given stays right here in Northeast Indiana. And thanks to the generosity of donors, most services are offered at no cost to those in need.
Join Us at Our Final “Fuel for the Weekend” Event:
We’re excited to welcome Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana to our final Fuel for the Weekend event of the year. Mark your calendars for October 11th from 12-2pm! We’ll be dropping the price of regular gasoline by 50 cents per gallon. Per usual, we’ll have a free lunch for guests, and will be giving away promotional items like koozies and t-shirts. Plus, we’ll have a live broadcast from local radio station 97.3 WMEE, adding to the fun atmosphere. Food and vendor prizes and goodies will be available while supplies last.

- Proudly display it on your vehicle and share your support with the community
- Post a picture on social media using the hashtag #FuelTheFight and spread awareness!
