Fueling the Fight for Cancer Services

MacFood Mart concluded their annual fundraiser for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana with a $3,000 check presentation to the nonprofit last week at their original location in the north part of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The organization provides a variety of programs and services to support individuals and their families throughout Fort Wayne and neighboring communities who are affected by cancer.

Fundraising consisted of selling Breast Cancer Car Ribbon Magnets for $2.00 at their convenience store locations. Registers also utilized the round-up feature for additional donations.

Cancer Services’ Director of Development and Marketing, Stacey Stumpf joined the MacFood Mart team to celebrate this year’s donation with the store that raised the most money in October.

MacFood Mart President Ray McIntosh said, “Our team has enjoyed this fundraiser for the past three years. It gives us a chance to connect with our customers about an organization beloved by the community.” Over three years, MacFood Mart has raised $6,120 for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana through customer donations and team member efforts.
